Each spring, UFC members meet up with the UFC-equivalent affiliates of sister UC campuses in northern California. Some years we travel from Merced together to another campus, and sometimes they come to our campus. The group of affiliates have lunch together, attend a presentation or academic lecture, and tour parts of the campus being visited.
The 2025 Intercampus Event will be held at UC Santa Cruz on March 26, 2025. The bus trip will be an all-day excursion from Merced to UC Santa Cruz starting at 6:30am and returning by 5:00pm. (Event is 8:30am to 3:00pm.) Once you register, we will provide you with more detailed information. The Intercampus event will total $80.00 per person, which includes snacks on bus ride, continental breakfast, lunch, tours, a great day of networking with other UC community groups, and VIA bus transportation. Please note that a $60.00 payment will cover the UC Santa Cruz Intercampus event and a separate $20.00 payment will cover the VIA bus transportation.
